Trade & Technology Conference for Women
A morning of fun, exploration, and inspiration. The conference is being held at the Tradex, in Abbotsford on April 5, 2017 from 9:30am to 12:30pm (Check-in time: 9am) in conjunction with the SkillsCanada BC provincial competitions.
This event aims to bring together female students grades 9-12 from various high schools paired with women who are employed in a diverse range of sectors represented at the BC Skills Competition.
During this exciting event, participants will explore Trades and Technologies Firsthand while networking with women who have found success in trades and technology careers.
Some of the careers highlighted will be Electrical, Plumbing, Ironworker, Plumber, Carpenter, Petroleum Equipment Technician, Industrial Mechanic, Safety careers and more!
Eligible students may only attend this conference in accordance with their school’s permission and in accordance to the regulations for off school events. Career Advisors or Teachers can register students at by clicking on the Registration Link.
Teacher/Supervisors may register for the event at a cost of $25.00 per ticket. Space is limited to 15 teachers/supervisors. Teacher/Supervisor registration CLICK HERE
